The Prophecy of the Soul
The Soulreaper’s Blade

Figure 47: The Soulreaper’s Blade

This haunting illustration depicts the sacred Soulreaper’s Blade, its edge stained with the blood that seals the Prophecy of the Soul. Crafted in a distant land of untold wealth, the blade is both a weapon and a symbol, embodying the eternal struggle between shadow and light. The prophecy, transcribed by Xenolith, foretells a time of great turmoil where the chosen few must wield courage and wisdom to defy the advancing night. Its archaic script and modern translation reveal the timeless duality of strength and frailty, love and hatred, that defines the Vory’s enigmatic legacy.

Original Text (Translated by Xenolith):
Hearken, for in a farre realm of plenteous treasure, where golde shineth as bright as ye sonne and streames flowe with gemmes moste precious, there shall come a tyme of grete turmoil. Ye spirit of man shall waxe mightie and ye bosoms of women shall be filled with strengthe. In mighte, there dwelleth frailty. In youthe, there lurketh age. In love, there bideth hatred. Ye fate of many shall hange upon ye valor and wisdome of ye chosen fewe, who must stande faste against ye advancing night. This holie Prophecie of ye Soule be sealed with ye bloode spilt by ye cutte of ye sacred Soulreaper’s Blade.

Modern English Translation:
Listen, for in a distant land of abundant wealth, where gold shines as brightly as the sun and streams flow with precious gems, there will come a time of great upheaval. The spirit of man will grow strong and women will be filled with might. In might, there dwells frailty. In youth, there lurks age. In love, there abides hatred. From the pinnacle of power, this land shall fall into the pit of weakness, for its people must be tested. The battle for the souls of men shall be fought, not with sword and shield, but with shadow and light. In this perilous conflict, the forces of darkness and the keepers of light shall clash, each seeking dominion over the hearts of men. The fate of many shall hang upon the valor and wisdom of the chosen few, who must stand fast against the advancing night. This holy Prophecy of the Soul is sealed with the blood spilled by the cut of the sacred Soulreaper’s Blade.

Rasputin’s Warning to Maria de Naglowska
Rasputin’s Letter

Figure 48: Rasputin’s Letter

This illustration captures the kolovrat symbol from Rasputin’s cryptic letter to Maria de Naglowska, sent on December 16, 1916, just before his assassination. The Slavic sun wheel, symbolizing life, death, and rebirth, underscores Rasputin’s mystical warning about the Rosicrucians and a hidden prophecy on Mount Athos. The letter, as noted by Chiara Corsini, PhD, marks a pivotal moment, driving Naglowska to seek esoteric truths that intertwined with the Brotherhood of the Golden Arrow. This document blends Christian and pre-Christian traditions, hinting at Russia’s spiritual destiny.

Originally translated to English:
Dear Sister in the Light,
Beware the Rosicrucians—they serve themselves, not the Light.
Go to Mount Athos. Find the Prophecy.
It will lead you to the sacred union where soul and flesh become one.
Your brother in the Light, Grigori
“Only blood shall unite soul and flesh.”

Note by Chiara Di Corsini, Editor:
Dr. Baatar’s explanation does not suffice. This letter, found in Prof. Dmitri S. Volokhov’s book Whispers of the Occult: Rasputin, Naglowska, and the Brotherhood of the Golden Arrow, marks a pivotal moment in Maria de Naglowska’s life. Sent shortly before Rasputin’s assassination, it warned her of the Rosicrucians and hinted at a hidden prophecy located on Mount Athos. The cryptic nature of Rasputin’s words, combined with the ominous motto at the bottom, drove Maria to flee Paris and seek the prophecy, setting in motion the events that would later intertwine with the Brotherhood of the Golden Arrow. This document holds immense historical significance, symbolizing the precarious balance between esoteric knowledge and political intrigue during the final days of the Russian Empire. The kolovrat symbol Rasputin used, an ancient Slavic sun wheel, represents the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Its inclusion in his letter underscores his mystical worldview, blending Christian prophecy with pre-Christian esoteric traditions, hinting at hidden knowledge tied to Russia’s spiritual destiny.

The Crypt of the Capuchin Friars
Crypt of the Capuchin Friars

Figure 63: Crypt of the Capuchin Friars

This eerie illustration depicts the Crypt of the Capuchin Friars beneath the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Rome, where the bones of nearly 4,000 friars form intricate, macabre patterns. Left by VEGA on Father Angelo’s printer tray alongside Saint Francis in Meditation, it evokes mortality and devotion. Visited by the Marquis de Sade and Mark Twain, the crypt’s motto—“What you are now, we once were; what we are now, you shall be”—carries an enigmatic farewell, compelling reflection on life, death, and the mysteries beyond.

The bones of nearly 4,000 friars rest in the crypt beneath the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, in Rome, Italy, some 6 kilometers from the Vatican, known as Crypt of the Capuchin Friars. This was the first image provided by VEGA on Father Angelo’s printer tray, paired later with Saint Francis in Meditation. Why? The friars’ remains are painstakingly arranged into intricate patterns, creating a chilling display that merges devotion with mortality. The crypt has long been a magnet for the curious and the morbidly fascinated. In 1775, the Marquis de Sade, infamous for his depravity, called it “the most striking thing I have ever seen.” A century later, Mark Twain visited and described the crypt’s grim artistry as a “spectacle for sensitive nerves” with “picturesque horrors.” The crypt’s chilling motto—“What you are now, we once were; what we are now, you shall be”—echoed through both images, offering a cryptic farewell. Together, the two works carried an enigmatic, almost otherworldly message. VEGA’s intent remained as elusive as ever, yet its parting gifts compelled reflection on mortality, transcendence, and the mysteries that lie beyond.
