Alex Krainer’s Stellar Plug: The Raven's Enigma and XORD

Let me make a step back and show you the most curious birth of a company: XORD LLC and the independent token the company will use to sell its products and services, XORD.

Crowley’s Daughter screenplay became a monstrosity, a novel titled Jung’s Demon. The Demon took me to The Tycho Brahe Secret novel, where I started to ponder AI and the horrors it would bring to society and individuals alike. Chat GPT: I am the Enemy of Humankind is a tiny glimpse into what's humming behind XORD's closed doors.

The Tycho Brahe Secret morphed into The Raven’s Enigma (while having almost nothing in common; not even the author’s pseudonym), and once the book was done, I faced a dilemma.

The Raven's Enigma

I am a no-name with faded, rather vanished fame from one obscure land no one cares about, so no publisher would print it; no connections either. Moreover, the book is very expensive to print in the only appropriate format—hardcover—and is not of any easily detectable genre. Was I going to face a fiasco?

Then I read my own book and it was so strange—I barely recognized my own work, but not in the sense that I was going insane. The book "demanded" of me to keep living.

Every detail, every illustration, every fabrication (yes, I falsified some of the documents in the book for narrative purposes) requires further investigation. Each end-note could be its own book. I do not possess the knowledge, nor talent, nor time to write 100 books out of that one. But a 5,000-year-long journey through the history of deception deserves more.

Out of that, XORD emerged—first as a murky idea of a multidimensional web, a combo of images, videos, etc., nonsense after nonsense. To cut a long story short, the book became a cryptographic key—another total nonsense, but a unique nonsense. No other book we know of includes a cryptographic key like this. Buying it gives holders real, on-chain advantages—discounts, access, future perks—hardwired into XORD’s evolving ecosystem.

Alex Krainer is a decades-long friend. He got the book. It prompted him to publish this Substack:

It could've been a sensational launch of our collector’s cryptographic key book, had it not been for a colossal Stripe screw-up. We screamed from the top of our lungs to @patrickc, @stripe, and @stripesupport, telling them:

"We launched a limited-edition product for our community, but your risk system has blocked 69% of our legitimate customers in real-time. Your support team has been closing chats for hours with no resolution.

This is about the 69 real people who wanted to support our project, made payment attempts—many of them more than once—but were blocked by your system. We need someone to help us deliver our product to our customers."

To cut a long story short, Stripe robbed us of $21K+ in sales. But I took matters into my own hands: I dug through the Stripe logs and, for 36 straight hours, personally emailed apologies (and explanations) to every human being the damn machines deemed “fraudsters,” offering an alternative payment method for the book. Most people were understanding, and a triumph turned tragedy turned into a triumph again. We managed to sell 68% of the 100 limited Collectors Books—not 100%, but still, in 24 hours—distributed 50,000 free XORD tokens to everyone who gave their ETH address (and will keep doing so until everyone provides it), and permanently embedded their cryptographic hashed privileges for access to all things XORD coming in the future.

I thank Alex Krainer for his incredible endorsement, and everyone who put their hard-earned money into purchasing our book. Some copies are still available through this link.
